Robert D. O'Connor Jr. the man with a vision, the legend, "Madd Jack" worked at the Cape Canaveral space station for over 28 years, where he learned the "tricks of the trade" in barbecue from California. Robby was able to develop a "dry rub" that he would season the meat with and smoke it. To the untrained barbecue eater, one may think barbecue sauce is a MUST, but Robby felt that good barbecue should not be doused with sauce to have flavor!
What's in the secret "dry rub"? Only the finest seasonings and herbs! Robby felt that it would be a crime NOT to share his creation with appreciating customers!
Robby O'Connor Jr. passed away March 09, 2015 in a tragic motorcycle accident. To keep Robby's legacy alive, Arleen O'Connor (Wife) and Autumn O'Connor (Daughter) decided to keep the restaurant open.
